Born in Rotterdam, we design bold, funky swimwear and heavyweight tees for people who want to look good without the guilt. Every pair of swim trunks we make uses 4 to 8 recycled plastic bottles, turned into high-quality, quick-dry fabric certified by the Global Recycled Standard. Our t-shirts are cut from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton. We keep it fun, we keep it sustainable, and we never compromise on either. Narwal Apparel started with Rick, who returned from a world trip with one thing on his mind: the bold, vibrant swimwear he'd discovered on the beaches of Australia. Back in Rotterdam, he wanted to recreate that energy, but sustainably. So he brought in his brother Leon and their friend Peter, and what started as a passion project quickly grew into something bigger. Today, Leon and Peter lead the brand day to day, with Rick still involved behind the scenes.
